Mitchell J. Rich has been providing the highest level of personal service to victims of accidents and medical malpractice for over thirty years. After litigating cases with a major Manhattan law firm for twenty years, the Law Office of Mitchell J. Rich was established in 2007.
In January, 2010, the Law Office of Mitchell J. Rich opened its newly renovated offices at 3535 Jerusalem Avenue in Wantagh. This office has expertise in litigating all types of accident cases including, construction accidents, trip and fall cases, dog bites, automobile, motorcycle and trucking accidents and medical malpractice cases including delayed diagnosis, surgical errors and birth defects.
Mr. Rich, a life-long resident of Long Island, received his J.D. degree from Touro College School of Law in 1985 and has been admitted to the New York State bar since 1986. He is an active member of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers and the New York State Bar Association.
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Rich also volunteers time as a member of the Board of Directors and the Parliamentarian of the Wantagh Chamber of Commerce and as a member of the Advisory Board of the State University of New York, College at Old Westbury School of Business. Additionally, Mr. Rich serves a volunteer arbitrator for the Supreme Court in Nassau County. Mr. Rich is also an active competitive runner who competes regularly in both marathons and shorter races.
